The FIFA World Cup 2018 kicked off with an estimated audience of over 1 billion watching Robbie Williams and brand new freuds client, Russian opera singer Aida Garifullina. Aida wowed the world with her incredible voice, and freuds made sure everyone here in the UK were talking about her.
Over the past few weeks, freuds has been working with Aida to strengthen her social media presence, warm up media, and reposition her on the global stage. We kicked off the week by announcing the performance and ensuring Aida featured in all the National papers and online. On the back of her beautiful rendition of Robbie William’s famous song ‘Angels,’ we organised post-show interviews and helped Aida to manage some tricky questions from UK media about Robbie’s middle finger, homosexual rights and Vladimir Putin.
Over the next few weeks, freuds will be working with Aida on interviews and exciting opportunities across Europe and the US ahead of some big performances and cement her as a global opera superstar.
