freuds launched the speakeasy style Wave Bar at Mayfair restaurant Park Chinois. The lavish Berkeley Street restaurant is known for its exquisite Chinese food and the launch of the bar puts its superb cocktail list firmly on the London map. The launch saw a variety of press and influencers escape the July heat and descend red-carpeted stairs into Park Chinois’ decadent basement.
The exclusive bar serves a full cocktail menu, including an array of eclectic and premium Negroni offerings such as the house-made ‘Negroni De La Maison’, which comprises a heady mix of Nikka Coffey Gin, Amaro Mondino, Suze Saveur D’Autrefois, Cocchi Rosa, which is cold-dripped through jasmine, chrysanthemum, Sencha tea, lemongrass, ginger, grapefruit and lemon – a spectacle to behold in the making, dripping through a series of tubes and beakers, and providing perfect Instagram fodder for the guests. Alongside the show-stopping cocktails, gourmet Chinese appetizers were served, including Park Chinois’ famous dim sum.
