Poppy Mitchell-Rose


From 2005-2013, Poppy worked in Parliament, 10 Downing Street and HM Treasury as a Special Advisor to the Chancellor of the Exchequer, working alongside the Prime Minister, Cabinet and Shadow Cabinet. She covered media strategy, campaigns, and global business relations, including international trade missions to the Gulf, India, China, the USA, and Japan, promoting the UK. Poppy has worked closely with the Prime Minister, the Rt Hon Theresa May, and members of the British Cabinet. At freuds, she has built our Middle East practice, with projects including the global media launch of Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Salman’s Vision 2030, global media visits to Saudi Aramco, global communications and marketing strategy for the Islamic Development Bank, the first meeting of the World Islamic Economic Forum in London, Discover Arabia and the highest eagle flight from the Burj Khalifa Dubai. She also manages our work with global investment company LetterOne. Other clients have included Jamie Oliver’s campaign for nutrition, GreatBritishOceans, successfully campaigning for the creation of the world’s largest marine reserve, Live Earth 2015 with Vice President Al Gore and Pharrell Williams, Nike Foundation’s Girl Effect, and ongoing projects at the World Economic Forum. Poppy started her career in journalism, at the BBC and Reuters. She lives in London and is married to the BBC political journalist, Ben Wright.
