Social Strategist - Associate Director (SAD)
The Team
This is a hybrid role sitting across both Freuds’ social andstrategy teams – who work closely with all divisions across the business. Theteam exists to service all clients within the agency on both a consulting andpaid basis – ensuring all teams are kept abreast of the latest social bestpractice. Services provided include content strategy and channel planning,campaign activation, visible leadership and paid media management. The social teamconsists of 14 specialists who integrate with PR and talent teams accounts onboth a retained and project basis, including Mars, Danone, EY, Prosus, You CanAdopt, McCain and the UK government. The strategy team supports the widerbusiness across a breadth of consumer and corporate clients.
The Role
The Social Strategist will play a pivotal role in leading thedevelopment of strategic plans tailored to meet each client's objectives andneeds for both social media-led campaigns. You'll stay at the forefront of thelatest trends, insights, and best practices in the strategy development.Collaborating closely with account teams and clients, you'll gain a deepunderstanding of the business goals, target audiences, brand strategy andvalues, translating this knowledge into compelling campaigns that resonate withtheir customers and drive tangible outcomes. Beyond developing influential andinnovative campaigns for high-profile clients, rooted in culture, you'llcontribute your insights to shape the agency's creative output. Yourrecommendations and inventive solutions will pave the way for clients toamplify trends and topics effectively.
As a mid-level member of the team, you'll guide and support juniorteam members in their professional growth, fostering an environment ofcollaboration and agility. Your ability to lead, inspire, and collaborate withothers will be integral to thriving in this ever-evolving industry.
