PR Intern
The Team
The Role
We’re looking for our next cohort of interns to join our 6 month Internship Scheme, starting in January 2026. We look for smart and curious individuals who are willing to get stuck in and who will bring diverse thinking to our work and culture.
To give you a flavour for what we do: This year we have launched a campaign to Strikeout Snakebite with Wellcome Trust, masterminded the KFC x Greggs collaboration, rolled out a standout week at SXSW London and managed to sneak in some 40th anniversary celebrations. Our mission is to continue to do great work and we’re looking forward to you helping us.
Based in London and starting at the end of January 2026, the 6-month Internship Scheme will equip each candidate with the skills and hands-on experience necessary to ensure their communications career gets off to a strong start.
The Internship Scheme includes access to our bespoke Academy Training Programme, hands-on experience across Corporate Reputation, Brand and Health and Behaviour change client teams, as well as exposure to some of our specialisms including strategy, social and creative.
The programme will be kickstarted by a two-week training course, where you will be fully immersed into the world of PR, attending training sessions led by our experts in each field, from crisis through to sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
The interns day to day responsibilities once onboarded on to a client might include:
- Researching and compiling background information for client teams
- Supporting media monitoring and tracking articles of interest
- Embracing our digital first approach: fully utilising our technology and AI tools
- Compiling meeting notes, action lists, and call agendas
- Assisting with media sell-ins, including curating media materials (press releases, media lists, etc.).
- Participating in planning and executing PR activities, such as events, photoshoots, and spokespeople engagements.
Outside of the day to day there’s so much to get stuck into alongside the Internship Scheme including our monthly company socials and lending a hand at red carpet events.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Confident communicator – across written work and verbally
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle a varied workload
- A minimum grade 6 in GCSE English
- Experience of using Microsoft packages, specifically Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel and a curiosity for emerging technologies

Creative Executive Director

Consumer Associate Director
The Team

The Role
We are looking for a culturally connected, strategically minded and action orientated associate director with big consumer brand experience to work across clients that might include Evian and KFC. We need a motivated leader with 10+ years’ experience of inspiring teams to deliver fame making campaigns that deliver impact in earned and social, that appeal to Gen Z audiences and excite both clients and agency staff. We want someone with the charm, smarts, counsel and proactivity to manage senior clients, large agency teams and form part of the senior team within consumer brands at freuds.

Key Responsibilities
- Ability to inform and influence integrated comms strategies, and knowledge and confidence to articulate the power of earned in an interagency collaborative working group
- Deep understanding of new media earned media strategies to maximize reach and engagement of campaigns across social, content creators and publications
- Ability to manage a response to a client brief end to end, directing and project managing from taking client brief to delivery of presentation. You will have excellent presentation skills, deck writing capabilities and ability to collaborate with the necessary specialist strategy and creative team to build the response

Culture and Corporate Media - Associate (SAE)
The Team
Freuds Culture and Corporate Media offering is made up of a core team of experts who create publicity campaigns for some of the sector’s best-known brands, individuals and organisations – from Working Title Films to Maven Screen Media, Somerset House's 25th anniversary to supporting the first ever SXSW London.
The Role
Do you want to be in the room where it happens? Our Culture and Corporate media team provide counsel at a senior level to clients in the TV, Entertainment, Arts and Culture space If you know your Bridget’s from your Kardashians and want to get to know the creatives behind the shows and films you love, we could be the home for you! You'll be using your corporate publicity skills to tell the story of companies who make the world’s best loved content in the tv and film space.
We’re looking for a skilled corporate first publicist who can turn their hand to both corporate and consumer story telling. The work involves telling company stories for some of the most exciting global creative companies who work in the film, tv and branded content space as well as consumer activity for culture clients. Members of the team come from both agency and in-house backgrounds, they all have a passion for the Media industry and the impact it has in culture.
Ideally as our SAE you will come from a corporate media/entertainment background and have a love for Film and TV. You will be very familiar with the press titles in this space which might include; Deadline, Variety, Screen and Broadcast.
You will be a confident media handler with a strong news sense and love for being proactive and getting things done. You will enjoy working as part of a collaborative and kind team that encourages opinions and input from people at every level.
Key Responsibilities
- Confidently and concisely present progress reports, project updates and new ideas to junior clients either face-to-face, by telephone and by email
- Regularly write documents that you have developed on your own (i.e. press releases, reports, statements) that demonstrate your attention to detail, skills in producing written documents for both media and clients with minimal corrections from your line manager
- Demonstrate the ability to write well-structured persuasive copy in a range of styles including news releases, internal newsletters & online copy
- Support with researching relevant talent for brand campaigns, as well as development of talent briefing documents and attending the briefings themselves

Social and Influencer Strategist
The Team
This role sits within Freuds’ social team – who work closely with all divisions across the business. The team exists to service all clients within the agency on both a consulting and paid basis – ensuring all teams are kept abreast of the latest social best practice. Services provided include content strategy and channel planning, campaign activation, visible leadership and paid media management. The team consists of 14 specialists who integrate with PR and talent teams accounts on both a retained and project basis, including Mars, Danone, EY, Prosus, You Can Adopt, McCain and the UK government.
The Role
The Social and Influencer Strategist will play a pivotal role in leading the development of strategic plans tailored to meet each client's objectives and needs for both social media and influencer-led campaigns. You'll stay at the forefront of the latest trends, insights, and best practices in the strategy development. Collaborating closely with account teams and clients, you'll gain a deep understanding of the business goals, target audiences, brand strategy and values, translating this knowledge into compelling campaigns that resonate with their customers and drive tangible outcomes. Beyond developing influential and innovative campaigns for high-profile clients, rooted in culture, you'll contribute your insights to shape the agency's creative output. You will be a creative catalyst that champions innovative ideation, ensure creative excellence and craft in responding to briefs and have the gravitas, expertise and ability to influence at all levels.

- Able to read and dissect briefs, and identify the need for creative strategy in RFPs and for retained clients
- Deliver outstanding and original creative ideas for any client sector, across any agency brief.
