The Role

We’re looking for an established Senior Associate (Account Manager) to work on some of our corporate for consumer accounts. Clients could include the likes of McCain and Mercedes F1 Team. Your work would involve media handling and publicity, brand positioning and thought leadership, stakeholder management, issues and crisis management and developing programs that help our clients communicate and reach their sustainability goals. Our work ranges from national to global, and we’re keen to hear from creative, innovative professionals who want to join us and lead from the front – for our agency and for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Having already developed strong media relations skills and connections you will continue to ensure you have up-to-date knowledge on your clients, their sectors and those that talk about them the most. You will bring that knowledge to client meetings and will use it when curating ideas
  • A passion to grow your network with media and influencers, clients and other industry professionals, cultivate those relationships and always consider how your connections can accelerate and elevate the work we do
  • Develop a genuine rapport with clients and establish yourself as a thoughtful advisor, contributing to conversations in a meaningful way whenever possible
  • Act as one of your client’s day-to-day contacts – by email, phone and in meetings
  • Help manage client meetings and leading on your pieces of the agenda
  • Take responsibility for the smooth running of accounts – from monitoring to WIPs, understanding your fellow team members’ capabilities and the client’s expectations, and supporting junior members of the team as needed
  • Mentor junior colleagues, identifying skills gaps and working with their line manager to help in their development  
  • Ensure your team leads and senior colleagues are always up to speed – from general developments to important successes or challenges on your accounts
